Our special guest.

We have the privilege of having Matt Wilhm on the set today. Matt is the Director of Creative Services at the Wisconsin Milk Marketing board.

Matt Wilhm and Scott Lanza.

The War Wall.

Once again, we have created a war wall to admire and critique our work. This helps us keep the composition fresh between the 34 sandwiches.

Seven in the can. 27 to go.

No. 24 is in the can and it's stunning.

Wisconsin Edam.

Sliced and fried knackwurst.

Sauerkraut.

Fried potatoes.

Fried onions.

Rye bread.

Our bread line.

This photo resembles a D.E.A. drug bust but is actually our bread supply for the week. All the bread is wrapped in paper towels and stored in Zip-Lok bags to hold moisture and prevent wrinkling.

Anyone hungry for lunch?

Say hello to a little Fontina and pork shoulder.

This sandwich made us a little giddy this morning.

The Crew

Scott Lanza, photographer, at the helm of the spaceship.

Week one food stylists: Jill, Tom, and Vanessa.

Food Porn

We put in a little OT to get three sandwiches and three cheese silhouettes shot on Monday. The photography and food styling is amazing and dare I say – these sandwiches may be better than the C&BS. Unique, satisfying, and #@$%! delicious!
